CT Statewide Award Based on Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award

WATERBURY, CT / OCTOBER 5, 2005 - ArchivesOne, Inc., the third largest records management and storage company in the U.S., has been selected as a Silver Award Winner for the 2005 CQIA Innovation Prize presented by the Connecticut Quality Improvement Award Partnership. The statewide quality award is America's oldest state-level award based on the U.S. Department of Commerce's Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award criteria and recognizes Connecticut companies, government agencies and non-profit organizations that have demonstrated outstanding quality processes, innovation and programs. The 2005 Silver Award marks the second time ArchivesOne has been recognized by CQIA with the Silver Award, which the company also received in 1999.

ArchivesOne, headquartered in Waterbury, CT, won the prestigious Silver Award for the development and implementation of its innovative Core Operating Procedures throughout ArchivesOne's fast-growing organization. Additionally, ArchivesOne's winning application will be published in 2005 Connecticut Best Practices, the state's eleventh benchmarking book for quality improvement and innovation.
