ArchivesOne Announces Award Winners
For Immediate Release
March 2003
Columbus, Ohio - ArchivesOne, a premium storage and records management company with headquarters in Watertown, CT takes great pride in congratulating the winner of the Fourth Annual Excellence in Records Management contest. Grand prize winner for 2002 was Linda McCormick of NBBJ Architects, in Columbus, Ohio. The Grand Prize was a $350 on line shopping spree. A handsome plaque was also presented to the winner to commemorate her achievements.
"I want to thank you and your company once again for holding the contest and issuing awards," writes Ms. McCormick. "I was very happy to be the winner and I believe it brought a lot of awareness to our firm as to the importance of records management here. I really believe that no one really knew that such recognition was possible for what I do. I have found out that I will be able to study the classes or books from the ARMA website relating to records management and hopefully leading to eventually getting my CRM. I do believe that the work I've been doing and the award I received have been instrumental in their decision to invest in me. I am glad that your company is so involved in making records managing recognized and appreciated," she adds.
ArchivesOne established the Excellence in Records Management Award Program to recognize accomplishments and success in the records management business throughout the Connecticut, Metro New York, Long Island, Albany, New Jersey and Ohio markets. Applicants were asked to submit answers to three questions regarding records management technology, skills and new innovations implemented in records management programs at their companies.
Congratulations to Ms. McCormick and NBBJ Architects, and best wishes to all the other applicants. We look forward to next year's competition!
